Tuesday 7th July - What small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free!

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending!

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :money:

    Morning all :)
Thanks for the start Ziggy, and hope your son has a lovely day :)

Strange weather here too Maria, but at least the random downpours mean that there is less watering to do in the garden!

    List for today:
    Check banks (done, as expected)

Make a loaf in the BM. I must remember to cut this one in half and freeze half, as I am eating very little bread due to my diet (still need to make it for OH).

Ironing :( Only a few bits but I find it so difficult to motivate myself to do this :o

    Hoover upstairs

Sort out some items for sales unit, and take them along

Load of washing and dry outside, if it dies up after the most recent shower

HM meals from stores, trying for a NSD :)

Anything that needs doing in the garden - I am rationalising the pots a bit. As whatever is in one the finishes, I am cleaning and putting them away, as the watering is a bit of a mission with so many. There is more room for salads and stuff in the raised bed now the spuds and broad beans are out.

Well, I will be happy if I get all that done :)
Hope everyone has a good day :D
