Bank of Scotland Vantage Account

I decided to open a BOS Vantage Account today. Unfortunately, I need to bring ID and proof of address to a branch - issue is I live in London and I am not going to be in Scotland any time soon (especially not within the 14 days post-application).

Can't I just email or mail my documents? How have you guys done it?

There are plenty of Halifax (and Lloyds) branches in London who will be handle this for you.

Sorry to bring this old thread up again, but I am having the exact same problem as OP.

I phoned Bank of Scotland yesterday to check how I can provide my proof of ID (having read this post) and was advised that I could do it at any Halifax or Lloyds branch.

I visited 2 Lloyds branches today only to be met with puzzled looks.

I've phoned BoS again tonight only to end up being cut off in the transfer process - not before, however, the initial operator expressed surprised that I was told I could use Lloyds to provide my ID.

Has anyone here (OP?) gone through this and be able to advise me how best to proceed?

Halifax branches would be better as they are the same bank.
That said, Lloyds branches should be able to do it too,
