o2 pocket hotspot and LAN

I bought one of those O2 mobile wifi things.
I was hoping to link it into my own network if internet should go down,
but O2 have customised it so you can't disable the DHCP server.
Neither can you change the IP address / range.
I have devices on the network with static ips. I have no intention of changing everything to suit o2's pig ignorance.
Any ideas on how to get round it?
