parking eye

OK i have read through the post on hear and now have a head ache :( i have looked at both template letters on here and parking cowboys, i went with parking cowboys one, on the parking appeals page but it doesn't seem to like it and after i copied and pasted it, it came up with this "The field Reason for Appeal must be a string with a maximum length of 3000"? Any way, do i need to send a picture of the receipt in for that day? as I'm not sure whether i should just put the appeal letter in and nothing else. I have spoken to the store in question via their facebook page and via email and they have requested every time that we send them the receipt. we have pointed out that if we was to do this we would have no proof of the said shop, that took place, as we not willing to give parking eye or aldi copies of bank statements. i'm beginning to thing it would be easier to pay them but do not want to do this as this is a totally unfair in just charge. i do not want to relay on here in an open post hope the ticket came about but i was at the store all the time and never left once the grounds. is any one able to assist please

The easiest way to beat a ParkingEye/Aldi ticket is via the submission of redacted copies of receipts or bank statements. You are trying to do it the hard way with a greater chance of failure.

Are you submitting the appeal which starts 'Without Prejudice Except as to Costs'? Sounds nice and legal that doesn't it?

Do you understand what putting that into your appeal means?

and I have a headache trying to read that block of text !!

ever hear of the NEW LINE key (Return Key) ? to the right of the hash # key on a keyboard , lol

I thought you could attach an appeal to an online PE appeal ? so word doc or pdf

you will also find that PE dont care about "what happened on the day"

they may care about how much was spent on the site though, and cancel

redacted bank statements and receipts should have been given to both parties, mentioning that the actual original ones will be kept to show the judge if it ever goes to court, providing they do the same with the landowner contract

fight fire with fire, dont wimp out !

and dont show all your cards either

tell the shop or retailer or landowner that you will give them a copy (or preferably redacted copies if you like) of the paperwork and they can see the full details when they are called to court as witnesses if they dont cancel

go on the offensive , stick to the NEWBIES sticky thread advice on here, it works !! end of !

when my sister in law did her appeal to PE over 18 months ago, redacted copies of receipts and bank statements were used to PE online, they cancelled the invoice promptly

notice my reply is not one long block of text, easier on the eye, easier to get the key points too ?

    thank you to both replies

I had been into the store previous and left copies of the receipt but they Aldi and parking eye wanted me to send the original in to them, which i didn't want to do.

anyway good news, is that i have just had the area manager on the phone from the store and he is going to get the parking penalty notice cancelled,

and i think i will stay clear of Aldi from now on.

thank you all for your comments

make sure you get the cancellation in writing from PE within a couple of weeks, otherwise assume its not cancelled and still appeal

dont sleepwalk into something you dont want to handle

words are good, a written cancellation is better
