Tablets dropping wifi connection

My wife and I have Samsung Tab3 8" tablets. They work fine but a few months ago they both started dropping the wifi connection to our BT hub 4.

Our PCs, laptops and mobiles are still connecting as usual, it's just the tablets which regularly lose connection. I'm not certain but I think I did a soft reset on at least mine but that made no difference.

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Could be just local interference from a neighbour's wifi or a new appliance/device you have recently installed. You could try moving the router to a different location in your house to see if things improve.

Might be channels try a wifi scanner app to see what channels you are using and change them .
Could also be the wifi settings as one of my tablets needs the wifi signal downgrading to 54 g .

Thanks for your help folks, but I have to say that I'm not overly keen to start messing about with the router as everything else continues to work/connect fine with it.

Both tablets are used in various rooms in the house, and it's only them which we're having the problem with, and that only recently, previously we never had any problem with them.
