Halifax exchange rate when recieving USD?

Sorry, not sure if this is in the right section.

Can anyone tell me where i can find the exchange rate they use, which will change daily.

I am going to be recieving some money from my paypal account which will be in USD. Paypals exchange rate isnt that good and there is also a fee.

Im wondering what halifax's exchange rate is and if they will charge a fee - i cant find any information anywhere. I can find international payments but this does not give me the info i need.

I was going to ring them but im at work and dont want to be on the phone for ages.

Thanks

    Possibly, over a phone only.

Well, if Paypal really do payments in $$, then it can be treated like an international transfer by Halifax. Some bank charge a flat fee - check for Halifax.
Re the rate, expect it to be ~3% worse than the interbank one.

Yes, it will be classed as an incoming international payment.

I cannot get an estimate (from filling in form to sent money out) as i dont have any bank details RE the sender.

I will have to ring them up later.

I was wondering if it would be cheaper to convert my USD to GBP in Paypal or send straight to Halifax.

Than you'll be charged flat fee £2/£7 for the amount </>£100.

    Plus ~3% for currency exchange.

I don't understand what you mean.
