    Got a genuine one ordered up and it arrived yesterday. Works perfectly and no disruption to the network :)

    You probably saved yourself from a house fire too. Many of these cheapie mains adaptors and chargers are lethal! Good sleuthing to resolve the problem though. :)

    We had problems with our heating system several years ago that was caused by a neighbour's electronic PIR Christmas wreath ... the PSU to the wreath was the problem; any time someone approached their door the wreath would play it's music and our heating would go weird! :rotfl:

    Both are "legitimate" marks.

    you have "C<Big Space>E" and "C<Nearly Overlapping>E"

    The first one is the "European safety certificate stamp" The other means "Chinese Export".

    Next time mention in your original post that you are using these. First network diagnostic when using powerline adaptors is always to remove them and replace with a cable.
