Help with car insurance premium and credit reference agencies

Hi,

Just looking for some advice really as I'm currently paying an eye watering premium.

Background:
30 years old
late starter got licence in 09 2012 and was named on another policy until 02 15
No points but attended had to attend driving course which some are making me declare and pushing perms up
Live in Livaspool so high premiums generally
also long commute for work so mileage circa 20K per annum


My issue is that I'm having to pay 337 per month for insurance.

Any companies that are offering me lower premiums are saying they cannot confirm my identity and told mr to contact call credit about it

I bought a house in Jan and after dealing with call credits rubbish files am on the electoral register there as well as land registry. Mobile what else I can do and calm credit are less than helpful.

Any advice would be massively appreciated as this is crippling me but I need the car for work.

Try a local broker (Avoid Swintons)

Make sure you're on the electoral roll

I'm on the electoral role and call credit has the info on file which is why I'm confused.

Just got a quote of Swinton for 5.5K!

Will take your advice and look at local brokers though. Never thought of that.
