Hi,
I recently sold an item on ebay, the buyer sent through an best offer, i countered the offer, and they purchased . However, in both ebay/paypal accounts and emails it shows the buyer paid the full amount and not the amount I countered them.
Does anybody know how they have managed to do this? I would of thought that on the item where a seller has accepted, or sent a counter offer the buyers would only have the option to buy at that amount, not the full amount?

Did the buyer accept the counter offer or just click buy it now?
The buy it now stills remains for any buyer to click even while there are offers.
Or is it because of the cost of postage on top of the offer price and it just happens to come to the BIN price?0
