Debt is the symptom, need to work out what the real problem is. Talk to OH to assist in identifying this?
Once you know the problem work out how you can solve it !
Then work out what you want to achieve in life within your own financial envelope, then have an objective that is specific , measurable, achievable, realistic and timebound. Is the debt free A & R. Have you a plan to get this ? £500 pm over the next 39 months (sept 18) does give you £19.5 but what about the interest accruing and can you deliver £500 every month, have you accounted for annual 1/2 yearly and 1/4ly bills and the odd car repair ?
good luck

Yesterday made a payment to BOS of £10.00 and £5.00 to Lloyds. My DD has gone to MBNA this morning, so debt total is now £17,995.66, under £18,000 rather than over & £18,000 which made me smile thus morning.
Today
* Will be a NSD.
* Take lunch to work.
* Sun is out so washing will go on the line to dry.
* Dinner will be fish from the freezer and salad from the garden.
Money wise not much going on until payday next week, get payslip a few days before is I can work out what is to go where.

Good morning,
Been up early today, pottered in the garden, love being up when everyone else is sleeping. I have sorted another box of rubbish from the garage while Mr D is in work because he would have found a need for everything that was in that box. lol.
Spoke to my DS last night,he is having phone call from the dealer he bought his car off, telling him he needs a service, DS is only 19 and he thought he had to have one done, by law (bless) so he agreed to the service, told him to ring and cancel and go to the local garage and get it done there, much cheaper.

Today I did my Carboot, gratefull for the rain this morning, Carboot is held in a Multi story carpark and there is always a better turn out when it rains.Made £57.00,paid £7.00 entry fee, so very pleased, money to go towards holiday spending fund.
Sold one item on ebay, watchers on several other items. Given 100 free listing today, so I have relisted about 30 items.
Had a nap this afternoon and Mr D has prepared the evening meal and wrote a menu plan for the coming week,:) need to do a small shop tomorrow to stock up on fruit, milk, bread etc.

I have withdrawn £190.00 to last me until the 14th of next month, £40.00 to fill my car with petrol and the rest for my share of the food budget and anything else. The only money left in my currant account is for bills, see how I go.
