Manky Curtains need cleaning...

Hi, my mum bought me 4 pairs of curtains off the car boot today but they haven't been cleaned & look & smell really manky. The washing machine I have is a twin tub & I'm just wondering what I could use on them to get them back to original condition? I have Stardrops but have never used that for laundry, would that be good?

Thanks in advance :rotfl:

Why not try ordinary washing detergent with plenty of scented fabric conditioner, first, assuming the curtains are actually washable ?

You could, also, try something like Febreze spray, afterwards, if they come up clean but still smell and hanging out in the fresh air works wonders, too.
