Yes, I take the point and certainly investors need to be wary of narrowing discounts at the present time.

I have stopped buying into Murray International (MYI) as it is holding its small premium despite a torrid past 12 - 24 months. Bruce Stout is another taking a bearish stance along with Mundy.

However, I'm finding lots of good discount opportunities in smaller companies and filling my boots in the hope of a revival in this part of the market.

I have done further research and I can see that yield is not everything and can be a dtriment to overal performance.
I have a revised list of Investment Trusts for consideration as follows:

Relative performance/charges seem to stack up and yield would exceed 3% overall.
