I have just found a lazy way to Type with an Add-on. Having a spell-checker to underline any mis-spealt words is one thing, but to simply hold a key down a fraction longer changes it from lower case to CAPITALS in one go.

I used to have a spill chucker but it dyed! Do you need to do anything to turn capitals off after having pressed the key for longer than usual and how does this help touch typists who are so fast they do not have time to hold keys down for longer, they just use shift key.

No, simply hold the key a fraction longer , in fact there is a clicking sound that denotes it has actioned the capital letter.

How often would you need such an add-on? I rarely type any word in all capitals unless it's an acronym, and the effort of holding down the shift key at the same time is negligible. Sounds to me like the answer to a question that nobody has ever asked.

Learn to touch type and once you're banging out words above 50-60wpm you'll be frustrated at anything that slows you down. Just use the pinky and the shift that is on the opposite side to the letter you're pressing
