Need to reformat my PC but how do I save all my favourites? Is it easy to do?

File> import/export0 -
I import my Explorer bookmarks to yahoo (http://bookmarks.yahoo.com/)
As well as having a backup, it means I've got a version I can use when I'm away from my computer.
(I say import because you go to yahoo bookmarks and click import to get them from your browser)0 -
Another alternative is using WinXP's 'Files and Settings Transfer Wizard'. You can access this via going to help and searching for, "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard". I believe this saves files stored in my documents, settings (I'm guessing wallpaper, screensaver as well), your IE6 favourites & Outlook Express (email) settings.

After you've reformatted and you're starting again is as good a time as any to change to using mozilla firefox, less popup ads, currently less viruses target it, and tabs ("windows within windows kinda) are a few good reasons to move.
