I was bankrupt in June 2009 it came off my credit file last month along with all the defaults.
I currently have on my credit files when I checked last week:
Noddle gives me 5/5 Experian and equifax I just got the £2 reports
2 bank accounts all showing 'ok' since 2009, no overdraft.
1 credit card £2500 limit, £800 balance 0% 18 months. Pay loads off every moth
1 car finance settled2013
1 loan which I've over paid which is now at £900 with my bank lloyds was £8500 12 months ago @6.6%
1 vanquish card from 10/10- 01/14 no missed payments and settled[/B]
1 mobile contract with EE for 12 months all showing ok and a previous 2 year T-Mobile account settled which I had for 2 years.
1 Aqua card settled used for 6 months
Bt account all ok for past 5 years
1 lloyds credit card I had for 12 months paid loads every month, settled in dec 14.
1 O2 account had for years all ok settled in 2012
On electrol roll since 2002
No linked addresses or financial connections.
At my bank Lloyds I have 2 savings accounts with £2000 between them and a tesco Internet saver with £100 in it (save every month for Xmas)
But when I do soft searches it all says 0% -30% chance for nice cards
even tho my credit files look ok
Both CC and loan will be paid off at the end of the month with a bonus from work so I won't owe apart from my BT and EE contract, is this a good idea or should I keep the CC with a balance to help?
Experian and equifax show no credit searches presumably as lloyds used internal scoring for my loan and CC , noddle shows 2 , 1 in dec 14 and 1 in February 15
