Will I get charged interest ?

Sorry this is a really stupid question but I'm new to credit cards .
My credit card statement was produced on 23rd June and my balance was £60 .
My minimum payment was £5.00
Two days later I made a purchase of £80 .
That took me to £140 on my account but £60 or £5.00 to be paid by 10th July .
Yesterday I made a payment for £100 and my account balance is now £40 .
I won't get charged interest now will I because I paid off the £60 I owed on my statement .
My min payment has now changed to £0.00 to be paid .
So will the £40 be charged to my next statement ?

You will not get charged interest as you have paid off the £60 statement in full before the due date. If you normally pay the minimum by DD that minimum may be taken on the due date. Your next statement will show an opening balance of £40cr and the £80 purchase leaving a balance of £40. The extra you have paid will not count as a payment against your next statement so you will need to pay whatever it asks.

So will the £40 be charged to my next statement ?
All transactions after the last statement will get to the new one.
    £40 is your current balance.
If you don't make any more transactions, your next statement balance will be £40.

If you mean the interest on £40, then it won't be charged on the next statement, but will be added later if you don't pay the next statement balance in full.
