    Morning All

    Today so far I have
    - bought a packet of YS sausages from Mr T.
    - checked Shoptize to see if eggs were on there and they were. Claimed back 25p for buying that brand of eggs, then logged onto Checkout Smart to discover that they are giving 10p cashback for any brand of eggs at the moment. So my box of 6 free range eggs went from costing me £1.80 to £1.45
    - Used my clubcard for points. Currently have over half towards the cost of the 3rd and final day pass to our favourite zoo/soft play park that would cost us £50 for the family if we paid in full. Eventual cost will just be transport.
    - Found 2 ends of bread in seperate wrappers in the bread bin and included them in our breakfast. Don't know why OH had started new loaves without using them up first (he tends to make our daily toast)
    - Included 2 plain croissants that I had brought home earlier in the week so getting rid of all food waste today keeping ££ s in pocket.

I have a big event to cater for today at work so although I am working an extra half day this week I will net around half of my entire weeks takings in those hours which puts me ahead for next week. And it's guaranteed income.

    Good luck to everyone today.

    Bob

Thanks for getting us going Bob. You are on a money making roll today.

I have just unloaded Mr T order and as the strawberries were on last day the driver refunded me. I am delighted. Feel like I have won the lottery of life. Total order gone from £31 to £27.

Earlier in the week bought deodorant and shampoo using boots points so free. A great start to July.

Am now eating toast and nursing a horrific pain on right side of head.

However, poultry done, washing done, naughtily using tumble dryer as drizzle outside and can not be bothered. Sorry all.

Am off now to have a lovely day out with friend who has stuff to buy. I will encourage her and live vicariously!

    Have fun all

Good afternoon everyone, hope that you all have a great weekend. :D

Been busy this morning, looking at mortgages and seeing what we can potentially get. It was good but we needed to save more money for a deposit too get the best options. Queue my mum who had a lots of money from my dad when he passed two years ago and offered to give us £5,000. I would have never asked for it as me and my partner are very proud people but she's wanted to help us.

Anyway, my jobs for this weekend are:
    * sort out clothes and shoes that I didn't do last weekend
    * see what I need for a mini shop this weekend and use apps to see if I can get any money back/cash back.
    * start looking through DVDs to sell through either eBay or did wanted sites.
    * start to sort out and out on other bits to sell.
    * ring estate agents and begin to give them criteria for a houses we want to look at.
    *quick bathroom clean.
    * add anything onto my spreadsheet for money in and out.

I think that's it for my weekend, rather a lot to do!
Former Debt free wannabe. Now trying to save for a rainy day!

Rolls in and lands in a heap groaning on the DFW sofa.

Well. That was quite a day. Left home about 10 ish and cycled to the supermarket to pick up supplies for the party. Realised I'd need to make 2 trips. So first journey was around 3 miles, then back up the big hill again another 1 mile ish, to the supermarket and back again to the shop. The couple arrived at mid day to start setting up then they left again to go and collect relatives. I then worked constantly for the next 3 hours making the food and putting it out in time for the party tea and adult catering.
My OH and son arrived about 3 then left to go to the adventure playground and I them saw them back at 5 to start tidying. The last guests left about 6.30 and we were clean and ready to leave by 7pm. After all costs cleared £200 in profit today.
So NSD here and did bring home a few leftovers that the party family didn't want.
Have just had a very extended soak in the bath and necked some painkillers for my back. It's so nice to sit down and relax!

Had some lovely compliments on the food from various guests which is always really nice as I'm not a trained chef only an amateur who has learned a lot in 3 years!

Tommorow I'm planning to have a nice lie in and plenty of coffee in bed!

    Night all
    Bob

Yes Floella sorry I meant to say that is good news! I would totally want to do that for my child if I was in the position to do so, but can see why you want to do it yourself too.

Thanks Hannah and Maria. Maria - your list is quite long there today. Are you ok doing all that with your condition?

Today I need to clean our bathroom and do a small restock shop for tommorow. Sorely tempted to pay the £70 I want to off the CC and just live with it. But then I worry that I'm going to far and will miss that money to live on.

My son has done a diary thing at school which is called things he'd like to do this holidays. I was reading it the other day. Some of the things are doable ' visit the white cliffs of dover' we actually have done that but he doesn't remember. Go to Harry Potter world. Doable if I get a discount or find another cheap way. But then there's go to Africa! And France! I think we could look into a day trip to France next month but the Africa trip may need to wait :))

    Hiya,
I'm back on the DFW forums after a huge, unexpected cut in income, unfortunatly I still have some subcriptions which I can't cancel yet so need to be extra careful with money.

    *Reinstall Qmee
    *Complete surveys
    *go for a walk
*collect free raffle ticket from farmers market without spending any money:o
    * clean oven using ovenpride that's been lurking at the back of the cupboard for over 2 years:eek:
*cash in scratch cards (wont be buying any again)
    *hang washing out to dry
    *Tidy my room
    *vacuum house
