Hastings directs Not on your side

Back in January 2015 my car was parked outside my house. A driver failed to stop at the junction and the driver who was already half way up the hill ended up crashing into her car. The driver who failed to stop at the junction then hit the accelerator instead of the break.
She then crashed into my parked car which after a while was then deemed a write off by Hastings direct. It is now July and I'm no nearer a resolution due to Hastings Direct not fighting my corner, paying out less than market value for my car, not answering phone calls emails and letters, saying that the formal complaint email I made was missing, sending the wrong information about the crash to their solicitors who then sent the court documents with all the wrong details on (going after the wrong person not the one who wrote my car off, wrong amount, wrong registration number and saying I was driving at the time) , going after the wrong insurance company for the courtesy car payment. After getting a settlement quote from my finance company I refused to accept payment offer due to the fact it was a no fault of my own accident. They went behind my back and paid the finance company and failed to inform me that they had done so.
They also failed to inform me that they had stopped the insurance for the courtesy car luckily the company that I had the car from told me otherwise I would have been driving with no insurance. I have now been without my own car and a courtesy car since February. I have now referred my complaint to the ombudsman and I am awaiting their response. I'll never use this company again!!!

Talk to the ombudsman and email the complaint form online FSO. They are still investigating mine and have just emailed me to inform me of the progress.
