Can anyone recommend a good motor trader insurance company?

Hi there,

Me and my husband are considering going into the trade on a more formal basis. We've sold a few cars over the years and have just reach retirement and are looking for a challenge!

Can anyone recommend a good insurance company who deal with inexperienced traders.

Hi Joan,

I'm new to this game too but i suppose we all have to start somewhere! Just signed up to the forum and saw your post.

I used to buy cars from this one bloke in Birmingham for years until we started buying at auction.
He was always raving about the company he used. I'd never heard of them until he mentioned i should get a quote. They're called Tradesure, based in brum.

Called em up (took about 5 mins to give details) they got back to me within about 10 mins with a price. Considering we had no 'trader' bonus we thought we got a good deal at under £800 quid for the pair of us. Everyone else was way over a grand!

What was nice as well was the fact that we get to talk to the same bloke each time we call to add cars onto the policy. I've never been kept on hold for more than a few mins and never been put through to a call centre 'out of the country' lets say. Bloody hate it when that happens!

Anyway, you should give them a try, ask for Ben, hes our guy!
