wrong car !

hi . we've just had a letter from parking eye from a popular budget supermarket . The exit photo (and time) shows a totally different car with a different plate - but the notice has our cars number plate photographed below in the zoomed in section but not time-stamped !

can anyone advise - it is erroneous but my Mum cant recall her movements that day.

So much for Parking Eye's "foolproof" ANPR system which is supposed to go through nearly 20 checks before they issue their fake fines.

Don't tip Parking Lie's hand otherwise you will give them time to correct their mistake. Never 'phone a parking company either.

Wait until near the end of the appeal period and then send the appeal template from the NEWBIES thread but include an additional point that the incident didn't occur as their photo's of two different cars clearly shows. Make sure that you don't miss the appeal deadline though.

Once you have done that, complain to the BPA and the supermarket's CEO that Parking Lie's ANPR system is not fit for purpose.
