Installing raised Pool over buried pipes?

We would like to put in a raised pool int he garden. (Summer will end the minute it goes in - we know)

The pool would be approx 3 metres x 4 metres.

Would this pool and the weight of water in it have any adverse impact on any buried pipework under the ground?
Its a waste pipe and the pool would not be covering any of the inspection covers or manhole covers.

They have been buried for a long time and the previous owner used to park his lorry on the same area.

If we were to sink the pool by 20cm into the ground would this have a significant impact?

Have looked online and cant see anything about this so presume its not a common problem but wanted to check?

I presume if these pipes are buried they are designed to have large weights on top of them and the water weight would be equally spread.

If the pool needed to be dismantled for the occasional once in 5 or 10 year emergency we could live with that..

Thanks

How deep will the water be?

The total height of the pool is 1.1 metres and I think it will be filled to a metre.

Its a wood framed pool but uses a standard liner so similar to the intex ones.

We plan to dig down 30cm but a third of this will then be filled by foam insulation sheets so only the bottom 10-20cm of the pool will be underground.

    Thanks

if I have done my sums correctly, your pool will be exerting a ground pressure of around 1.4 psi.

An average man exerts a ground pressure of over 16 psi while walking.

If you are happy to walk over your pipes, I doubt the pool will be a problem.

    Thanks - that sounds good.
I have traced the pipes and realised that further in the run we park two cars on top of them daily so that and a huge amount of soil, gravel, and tarmac on top should mean they should handle the pool.

I have also worked out we can stay clear of the waste soil pipes and the only pipe we will be on top of is surface water drain pipe which I am more relaxed about.

    Brilliant - thanks
