After todays retail sales being so dissapointing, & also the fact that interest rates have been on hold for 9 months now, i think its fair to assume that the next rate change will be down, but where will that leave savers, my cahoot account (5.65 Aer!) will end in a couple of months, where would be best to invest then ?? an internet based account no doubt but arent they variable, i.e BOE rates drop so do the savings rates, are there any with guaranteed savings rates for say a year...??? cheers
