I am on a few groups, and see that one has recently changed to 'secret'..

Are funny handshakes now needed, or what..??

(joining the group had previously been moderated, which I guess remains.)

    As I understand it...
Closed means you can search for it and find it, but have to be approved to join.
Secret means a search won't find it and and so you need someone to send you an invite to be able to join.
