Wondered whether anybody knows convenient parking , requirements described in the title . I usually park at slough but it is a bit too far , need to take train and then tube. Was thinking if I could omit train part and at the same time not being charged NCP rates.
The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.

North Ealing, cost £4 to park all day about 5/10mins from M4. used to use South Harrow, but some underground workers told me North Ealing or even Ealing itself has free on road parking, but never been there.0

We stayed at the Greenford premier inn at christmas and parked there about 9am and left the car and went into city before checking in later that night, Perivale tube is about 5mins walk over the roadbridge, there are no signs etc saying the car park is monitored or its for customers only or anything...
after we checked out the next day we left the car there again and got tube into city again, and came back about 10pm to drive home, no problems, there is a pub adjoining uses same carpark, The Mylett arms with no parking restrictions also... think day pass for tube was £9ish.
It was about 15mins from M4 along mainly fast A roads..0 -

If at the weekend, you can park in Grange Road (or any of the surrounding roads), which is the location of the back entrance of Gunnersbury Station. A few minutes away from Chiswick Roundabout, Junction 1 of the M4.
During the week, there's unrestricted parking down Strand-on-the-Green (and surrounding roads), also a few minutes away from Chiswick Roundabout, though it's a 10-min walk to Gunnersbury. However, Kew Bridge and Chiswick railway stations are closer.
I think there is free parking around North Ealing and Ealing, if you look, though the roads near their stations have a 1 hour no parking restriction between 10-11am, or 2-3pm, or similar to prevent commuters parking there all day.0 -
