Subscription box cancellation after renewal

Options
Hi,

I subscribed to a monthly mystery box called MyGeekBox which renews every month. However, I only wanted it for one month, but forgot to give them 72 hours notice as per their terms and conditions. I've been charged, but they haven't yet sent the boxes out, and probably won't for a while.

I asked them if I can cancel my box and get a refund before they send it out, and they said I can't because I didn't give them notice. I then insisted I didn't want the box, but they said it's too late and sent a rather unfriendly email, pointing out everywhere on the site where it uses the word "subscribe".

Have I got the right to cancel this order given that they haven't sent a box out, and boxes aren't customised?

Thanks.

You missed the deadline so no you can't cancel this months. Just make sure you don't forget to cancel next months box.
