MET Parking Services Fine

Hi there, just wondering if I could get some advice on this and whether I should be appealing.
We rent a car parking space in a private gated community and for example sake, lets say are holders of spot 1. At the weekend we came home and someone was parked in our spot meaning we had to then park in the one to the left of ours. We got a call from said person saying they wouldn't be back until Wednesday (today) and then we could have our spot back .... fine.
However, the spot we now had to park in is against a tree and so as to be careful not to hit the car we parked over to the right of the bay. Have just gone to move the car to find a £100 MET parking services ticket for 'being parked outside the markings of the bay'
I have just logged on to their site to see the 'evidence'. The side of the car they are referring to is the right hand side, drivers.
The front right hand of the car is clearly shown to be inside the line.
The back has been taken at a bizarre angle from the left hand side of the car rather than head on so shows nothing. And there is another image showing the the back right hand wheel is bang on the white line.
Just wondering where I stand on this because a. someone had taken my space and b. we aren't actually outside of the line and their photographs rather than being taken at a clear full back angle have been taken at bizarre angles to make it look worse than it was?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

firstly , its not a fine, its an invoice (MET cannot fine anybody at all, a judge can though)
anyone can invoice you for anything they like, so parking companies do so for perceived rule breaking on private land
as its on private land, its a civil matter between the owner or leaseholders of the land in question, nothing to do with who took what from who, that aspect would have to be dealt with between yourself, the owners of any other parcels of land (or bays)and any managing agents
read the NEWBIES sticky thread up top, this tells you what to do about this INVOICE
you should also contact the landowner or managing agent and insist they cancel this invoice immediately as the service you pay rent for (the parking space you "own" ) was not available for your own use , no matter what the party said who parked there, they should not have been there, end of
you paid for a service you did not receive, then received an invoice as well0
