Printer not printing

Hi everybody,
You've helped me once before and now I need your help again.
My Dad has an Epson 405 printer upstairs in his office. He is trying to print from downstairs via WIFI. This printer has been working up to now. It will not print any documents. He reinstalled the software and it started printing again. However when it is turned off and turned on it keeps going offline and will not print again. He's reinstalled the software again and it printed a test page but will not print anything else.

Just to let you know he seems to have fixed it. He did tell me but I didn't really understand what he did. From reinstalling it twice he has now got two printers and he set it to the Epson default.
Sorry that isn't really clear. Touch wood seems okay for now.0
