Fake / malware HMRC email - yep, I clicked on it...

So stupid, despite being suspicious, I decided, as I wasn't online, to click to see where the link would take me. But of course it wasn't a link. :sigh:
However, I was using an iPad. Am I right in thinking I will be OK as this almost certainly requires windows?

I saw one of those in my spam folder. You can tell if it's genuine if you hover over it. The email address is odd.0

for general browsing you could use TOR.
You could also leave your home pc on and use teamviewer as that too will use a private tunnel0
