Links no longer open in new tab/window

Options
When I click on a link from moneysavingexpert posts, they no longer open up in a new tab.
Opening up in the same tab which is really annoying.

Links from other website that I use, like tripadvisor work ok.

Does anyone know why and how to fix it?

Thanks

What browser are you using? Try clicking with the centre wheel.
Some open for me in a new tab and some not when left clicking using FF. I generally use the centre wheel for links anyway.

OK. I have found this whilst searching on the net and it works.

To open a link on a webpage in a new Tab and switch to the new Tab immediately, hold down Ctrl and Shift keys on your keyboard and click on the link

Just tried my IE11 and the same applies as my last post. Some do some don't, centre wheel always opens in a new tab.

so this idea of using the centre wheel has just been implemented on MSE only , its the site that's cocked up , not ie11

The centre wheel has been used for years for opening links in a new tab. Nothing to do with IE11. For your information the same thing happens in FF.
Why MSE has started behaving differently is another issue.

No, just press your centre wheel instead of the left click.
