Need to record a dodgy message on my answerphone

I had a dodgy message today on my landline, and have kept it in the hope of recording and enhancing the message.
What is the best way of doing this?

Can you dial into the machine from another phone? If so, use a call recording app on the phone you dial in from.
Then audacity to clean up. Though if you need it for legal purposes you probably don't want to do any enhancement at all.0
