Argos Mastercard - Application Process

Hello!

I applied online for an Argos Mastercard, today I received a letter requesting address and salary verification documents. This is no problem, I've sent them away.

My question: Does this mean I've been credit scored and accepted (pending document checks)? Has anyone else received the same letter and what was the outcome of their application?

The reason I ask is that it doesn't state so on the letter, just that they are requesting them to 'fully assess' the application. Any other credit card/account that I have applied for has been sent with a congratulations/welcome or the like when requesting documents.

Apologies in advance if there are people reading this who think I'm being daft, I'm just curious.

Many thanks,

MF
