Parking house on corner

I just want some advice if someone can help

I live in a small village and get little traffic outside my house. I have an end terrace and there is a private road for elderly behind my house the private road runs past my house right up to the wall with no pavement.
The parking out the front is so tight, I am only parking outside my house and not overhang the corner.
The question is can I park outside my house?

It depends on many things, such as:

Is this an adopted road or private?
Are there any signs or road markings prohibiting parking?

The highway code indicates that you shouldn't park so as to cause an obstruction, and not within a certain distance (15 feet?) of a junction. If this corner is simply a bend in the road then you might be OK.

Its a corner but its definitely private. From what I have been told there should be space (a pavement) between my house and this private road.
