pet insurance

Got 2 dogs 8 and 10 yr olds, we have been quoted £50-£70 both which for the last couple of years been paying the higher end with a £120 excess. we have only claimed around £380 one year and none for 2 so they been taking our cash and making a fair bit. they have been insured since birth but i can only remember the last 3 years. we now coming to couple days of renewal maybe saving the £70 a month. what's people's advice? risk and save the cash continuously or get insurance? thanks

Surely the risk of a claim increases as the dogs get older.

What would you do if one needed several thousand pounds of vet care in a few months time? Would you have the means to fund it? If not, what would you do?

    Your choice.
