Why on earth would you have to go back on the dole, seems to me you think the only sources of income for you is benefits either in the form of WTCs or JSA, there is a another form of income you know, its called a salary and you go out and find a job any job to earn it
that'll never catch on............:rotfl:Plan: [STRIKE]Finish off paying the remainder of my debts[/STRIKE].

Shocking! It will breach someone's human rights making them do that!!!These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0 -

The OP has a job, it's a start-up business which unlike so many other start-ups is actually making a profit in its first year. Many new businesses take 2-3 years to realise a profit.
The problem now is that this Government is no longer willing for a new business to take 2-3 years to realise it's potential and grow into a business that will sustain the OP without the need for WTC, they want instant profits right from the off.
I have no problem with the principle of the idea that self employment should be sustainable and provide an income equal to that of NMW, but it takes time for businesses to build a customer base, to get rid of start u costs.
The Solution would be to give 2-3 years grace on every new business where they didn't have to realise a profit in excess of hrs x NMW, but then after the exempt period would be deemed to be earning at least hrs x NMW for WTC purposes.
That's a fair way to operate for everyone. To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.

You don't consider the unemployed to be vulnerable? Let me guess everyone who is unemployed has chosen to be. They deserve all they get for being lazy wasters, they're the disease dragging society down.
Nothing to do with the fact we've seen the deepest and longest recession in almost a century.
IME, most people who are in this position have chosen to be because they can avoid the constraints of claiming JSA and still get as much money. The fact that the government has used this for their own ends is a separate issue.
The fact is most people in this position were put there by the Job Centre. It's now rather crass to be blaming them for the systems failure. To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.

So everyone is vulnerable if they claim benefits. You can be sick, disabled, old but if you support yourself you are not vulnerable. In other words vulnerable means skint or benefit dependent.Tomorrow is the most important thing in life0 -
Even if they scrap them at the budget, you'll have until April next year as you've already been awarded it for this year.0

You can guess all you like but don't put words into my mouth (again).
Most people who are unemployed through no fault of their own go into other employment after a comparatively short period. Some take the opportunity offered by government funding to become self employed and earn their money that way, rapidly losing the need for top ups. Others get fed up of being hassled by the Jobcentre and doing courses or work placements and decide they'll have an easier time by setting up a non business which pays buttons and allows you them to live on tax credits for years.
To suggest that any of these people are "vulnerable" just because they're not working is both demeaning and patronising in the extreme.0 -

I'd say what you posted covered it adequately.It's someone else's fault.0 -
