I signed up to what I mistakenly thought was a free trial for Aimee anti age cream.
The product arrived in a plan envelope with no invoice or company information on the bottle.
I thought nothing more about it until today when I checked my bank online.
2 Payment have ben taken out for £89 each in the last 3 days in 2 different company names (international associated with this company.
The bank says there is nothing I can do about it but have stopped future payments.
I just wanted to make people aware and see if anybody else had come across this unpleasant type company.
PLEASE BE AWARE....Read the small print.

Just found the web site (http://skincareanti-aging.com) which says:
What SkinCareAnti-Aging.com Does Not Do?
Customer Service
Manufacturing
Accept Credit Card
Process Credit Card Transactions
Ships Products
Accept Returns
Issue Refunds
Cancel/Manage Any Auto-shipment Membership Program.
Company is a complete and utter con. No one answering the phones. Don't think i have much chase of getting my money back0 -
On another forum I belong to, someone had at least the wit to ask first.
They had a link to Rita from Corrie looking very photo shopped and asked did we think it worked? No No No No. And if you watch Corrie does Rita look anything like the photo in the ad? Of course not. Oh and they will take loads of money out of your account, because you signed up which means its your headache.0 -
go to your bank and get them to cancell it under Continuous Payment Authority.. if you don't contact your bank, they will most likley take that amount each month.. it happened to me and a lot of people.. it was on Watchdog.. same company springs up under different names.. also for tooth whitening and raspberry ketone tablets. Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE0

Why didn't you just PM a board guide to get your other thread moved here?
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5276339
You've breached forum rules by posting the exact same content in another thread ... basically this is spamming.0 -
Im sorry if I've done wrong. on the other board i was told i had put it in the wrong place and it should have been put here so thats what I have done.
My sincere apologies if I have done something i shouldn't have it definitely wasn't intentional.
Apologies again.

Well done for posting here. Take no notice of bod1467 - there are always these perfect know-it-alls everywhere you go.
If saving one person is achieved from a similar experience to yours then it's been a post worth posting. You have nothing to apologise for.0 -
The only problem is ... this thread posted here was made well after the OP was advised to PM a board guide in that other thread. So the OP took the (incorrect) advice from the other thread but decided to ignore the (correct) advice - even though OP must have seen that advice before creating this thread.
So actually, my advice concurs with the MSE forum rules, so perhaps suggesting good advice be ignored is not, erm, the best advice?0
