Barclays Mortgage £500 Charge

I was wondering if someone could assist to see if I have a case?

When i set up my mortgage with Barclays two years ago they advised me that I had to pay £500 to open an account with them. This was due to me not having an account with them at the time. I then paid this to them. Do I have a case against them to claim this money back?

    I am pretty sure it was a personal current account.

    Mortgage current accounts run alongside the mortgage and were designed to offer a borrowing facility based on how much you have paid off your mortgage, are you sure the £500 charge was specifically to open a mortgage current account rather than simply a fee for the mortgage package you were applying for which happened to include a mortgage current account.
