I!!!8217;m looking to book Disneyland Paris this December - preferably 22nd-24th as it is my 30th birthday (I!!!8217;m a big kid really!) It will be myself and my partner.
If you can, I'd suggest starting your holiday there on 20th - that way you avoid Christmas prices. The German site had the best deal for this time recently (25% off plus free half-board).

    Hello

We've been to France twice about 6 and 4 years ago, ie day trip Eurostar and stopped on the way back for a few hours at the port another time.

We are thinking of going, ie mum, dad, me, my partner, cosin and her one year old baby.

We are looking at last week of June to first week of July ideally but can slight vary.

May do the train, or take our own car.

We want to book hotel on site becsue of baby, but looking around so expensive for 3 nights mid week.

Looked at off site a few mins shuttle from hotel and buying tickets separately. Funny thing re tickets if you but 2 day, 2 park ticket, works out 20 quid per person expensive on some sites if you buy a one day, one park ticket.

    Any recent visits/reviews/recommendations please?
    Is car parking free?
I've noted some off site hotels allow smoking and pets, we want to avoid that.
How busy is it late June, early July?

    All helpful comments appreacited.

Btw, we will take out extra travel insureance any recommedations ?

    Hello all,

I was just wondering where is the best place to book just day tickets at the minute? I looked a few months ago and priced up, however looked today and think the day we want to go is now in the "Super Magic" period so have increased quite a bit from what I originally thought they would be.

We can only go for the day as we are driving down to Spain for a wedding and the day happens to fall on our youngests 2nd birthday. So we thought why not pop in for the day! (August 16th)

We have booked 2 nights at the B&B Hotel Marne-La-Valle Torcy - has anyone stated here before, is it easy enough to get to the park?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hi Guys,
    Hoping you can help,
Looking to book 3 nights but its looking very expensive.

I've just read the tips from this site and one of them is to book through the French website, now Ive just done a search for the same package and its £487 cheaper! The question is how do I go about booking through the French website? Does it need a French address and do I need a special payment card? I only have a visa debit card myself.

If this is not possible are there any other options where I can save money.
Looking to go last week of July for 3 nights and take Eurostar.

    Thanks!

The French website isn't necessarily cheaper, it just has different offers. Some people will be better off using it, while others will be better off using the English one.
We've booked with the English one and the French one before; this time we've booked with the German one.
Tickets aren't send through the post. When booking, leave the country as per the site you are on (France, in your case) and put in your UK address.
Note that if you are using the English site to help you translate what you are reading they have a habbit of changing your site back to English on the French page you are on. Best if you use different browsers (e.g. one Chrome, one Microsoft).

In terms of paying, it's just a Euro transaction. So the same as paying for anything whilst you are there. Some cards are better than others. Have a look at https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/travel-credit-cards and decide whether the one you have is good enough for you. If you're looking at getting a new card for the purchase, check when the Disney offer you are using expires in terms of whether you have time for a credit card application or not.

We are going to France on the 22nd July and return on the 9th August :j

We will be staying south of Paris for a week and would like to go to DLP on Tuesday the 24th July.

Where is the best place to buy 1 day, 1 park, tickets for 3 Adults (1 of which is 12) & 1 child (9 Years old)??

I have found Attraction Tickets Direct for £216, is this a good price and are they safe to use?
  • Hi, just thought I'd let you all know about my recent experience booking via the phone line, trying to use another country's offer.

Firstly I needed to book via the phone, because I needed two rooms, so having checked the prices and availability online I rang up.
I wanted club rooms, but was told that they weren't available at my chosen hotel, so I came off the phone disappointed. I checked again online and the rooms were still showing as available, so I rang back, thinking an honest mistake had been made. This lady told me that the rooms were available, she went through the whole booking process, got to the payment part but didn't take card details, then without explanation put me on hold for around 10 minutes. When she came back, she said that both rooms were now gone and there was no availability.
Very disappointed I came off the phone to price up a different hotel, only to see that my first choice were still actually showing as available online!!!
I rang back again and was told that they definitely were not available if that is what I'd been told. So I asked about my second choice hotel and was told that those rooms were available.
They put me through to a booking agent, who told me that there was no availability for my second choice hotel either, once I mentioned that I wanted to use a different country's offer!!
I was astounded! I asked to speak to a manager, explaining how they were still showing as available online and how the first agent told me that they were available, she put me on hold for 20 minutes, I thought she was locating a manager, but she just came back and booked the rooms without any explanation!!
To make matters worse, our first choice of hotel was still showing as a available whilst I booked the second choice hotel rooms and they are still showing as available online, a week after booking!!

Whilst on the phone it felt very personal, like they particularly didn't want my family to come or something, or else why did they keep lying about room availability? Very strange and quite upsetting to be honest. This was supposed to be a very special occasion, but I kind of feel like its spoiled already and I don't even want to go now.

Has anybody else had a similar experience booking on the telephone?
This whole process has really upset me.

Going in a couple of weeks and suppose i better get the finger out and sort some things out!! Booked through the German site at the start of the year and arriving on a Monday afternoon till Friday morning! Have been before but it was 10 year ago and i can't remember anything!!! We are transferring from CDG this time as opposed to Ryanair last time.....has anyone been recently that could recommend a shuttle/taxi outfit!! Also, thinking of just hitting Disney Studios on first day as it's gonna be the afternoon and it's easier and samller to get around!! Make sense??

2 kids and the wee one is 7.

    ta in advance
  • We just came back having had 4 very long days there and quite frankly it was awful.
25 euros a day to park. Absolutely outrageous.
Food and drinks were so expensive, you need a bank loan. We had plenty of spending money and chose to spend it outside of Disney as I object to being ripped off. There were so many food places with no customers.

The parks themselves were far too small for the amount of people inside and we could not walk more than a couple of paces before having to move aside.
    Rides out of action regularly.
Rides boring, ordinary fair ground type things. Toy story area? What a joke. 75 minute wait for a up and down ride on a parachute or a catapillar type ride.

The place is scruffy, dirty with broken paving, walls needing painting etc

Studios were marginally better than the other place but way too small.

The illumination display at the end was boring, Please put on a decent firework display.

I have never wanted to come home from anywhere more in my life. What a waste of money.
Never again. We shall stick to Europa Park

But dont let this dire place put anyone off Disney in Florida. There is no comparison. No idea why Disney dont insist the franchisee keeps to the same standards.
