I've not cleaned my file up and probably won't as I've no intention of ever using credit again.

No nothing at all0 -
Have you checked all three CRAs? Experian & Equifax might show different things to Noddle.SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65
SPC 9 (2016) #485 TOTAL £84
SPC 10 (2017) # 485 TOTAL: £464.80
SPC 11 (2018) #4850 -
Yes i was with equifax not long ago. Ive never been comvicted of fraud and it's never shown any fraud on either equifax or noddle.0

You will need to take this a bit further. Barclays and the co-op are usually pretty simple for basic accounts after AD even if they were a previous creditor. Assuming you are a UK citizen (or have leave to remain) there is no simple reason why you are being declined.
Go back to all the CRA's and check carefully that all you records are as they should be. If they are ok, you need to appeal the decision to decline your application and get a reason why.0 -

When they phoned me 3 hours later saying i was declined he i asked if there was any way of appealing the decision and he said no.
Your definately right about something not being right, i feel the same but ive gone over and over my credit report so much that i know it inside out now. But to be declined for nearly every branch for just a current account is strange.
I am going to wait until halifax clear my 2 defaults on the old accounts i had with them 4 years ago, and then apply for a basic account with hsbc as they say you can only have a basic account if you dont have a bank account anywhere else at all, which i don't and won't and 'they' should have no reason to decline me. If they do I will take it further. The woman in Halifax who is sorting clearing my defaults with my discharge letter is going to phone me in a few weeks when its done, and get me into branch and apply for an easycash account again, and then i will see if i get that one also.
Something doesn't seem right though :mad:0
