Could you please delete this user as they're spamming the site like crazy

I have hit the spam button on one of their threads, but it'd take all day to do them all :eek:




(I know there's already a thread on here about spambots in general)

There are far too many spam bots on here now. I know MSE dont like to curtail posters as it can put people off but the spam is doing the same its ludicrous now

It should have been dealt with sooner, now they know they can spam it will just continue.
I thought it would be taken more seriously but I don't know how important the forum is to their business?

According to Mandelbrot there were 18 pages of spam on this board alone this morning :eek:

They do need to come up with some kind of solution.

Do other websites get this, and how do they deal with it.

yes a system of registration that requires checking by a moderator

they have mods checking , do not allow multiple posts by new users , etc etc

I've started to ignore them, it's a waste of time to press spam.
I think the answer is to wait until there's nothing on this forum but spam and then go and look for a better site to use.
