PSP and insurance

Just wondering if i could i could claim, not claimed off house insurance before.
What happened was lol, when i have a bath a play on my psp for a bit (I didnt drop it in the bath if thats what your expecting) when i come out of the bath room i put my PSP down on top of the wash basket and go to bed. my wife the following morning opened the wash basket and the PSP had an argument with nearly every step on its way downstairs.
I am sure we have household contents insurance, my question is would i be covered and what would i have to do?

Check to see if your household contents policy includes accidental damage. It's often something you have to pay extra for. Next if you are covered find out the excess and see if it's worth claiming.

Then sell the wife.
