I'm looking for recommendations of accom in / as close to, the centre of Bath as poss.

as cheapish as poss ,more money for xmas shopping

There is a Travelodge right in the centre of Bath which may be a bargain!0

so its £56
have found the Mercure Francis hotel ? for cheaper , reviews are ok on trip advisor
and location is supposed to be fab0 -

bath is small enough not to need to drive a car.

we are driving there !
we have now booked parade park hotel ? £67 each for 2 nights.gets 4 out of 5 on trip advisor, so thats good enough for me
£12 parking per day ,so not too bad split between the 4 of us
