How do I get my tunes on Napster on to New Sony MP3

My daughter had an MP3 player which she used with Napster, she has a load of purchased tunes in Napster which she wants to get them on to a new Sony NW-E013 which she has just bought. With her old MP3 she just used to right click the tune and select transfer to portable device, but this option is now greyed out?

We tried copy and pasting or importing from Napster into the sonic stage system, but no luck.

Can any one give us any ideas? thanks.

  • I'm not sure if the Sony MP3 players support protected DRM songs.

Does it say in the user guide?

Edit - Just saw this for the player
ATRAC, MP3, AAC (non DRM) and WMA (non DRM) compatible

which means you can't transfer the songs over.

Your only option is to copy the songs to CD and then rip them back off and then transfer to the player.
