100 club: best way to collect online?

Hello there, I've not posted on this part of the website before, but I volunteer for our local community centre and we're hoping to set up a 100 club for the centre. I've learnt a lot from other parts of the site over the years, so I hope someone here can help!

(For those who don't know: a 100 club is a private (members) fundraising lottery, a bit like the National lottery, but on a very small scale. We're hoping to find 200-300 people who will play every month)

What I am trying to figure out, is the best way to collect the money online. Most of the work will be done by volunteers from home as our centre's opening times don't really work very well for collecting money in person there (we only have 2 staff members who can't really help with this).

Is there a good platform that doesn't charge too much to keep track of quite a lot of small amounts (£5) that will come into the account every month, either by direct debit, standing order, paypal etc.

If anyone has experience with this sort of thing, I'd love to hear what works and what doesn't!

  • Our local rugby club has a lucky 4's game that they operate to raise money.

You can buy physical tickets but, as I have the same numbers each week, I pay my subscriptions by paypal and they simply message me when they need more money.

I'm happy with the way this works

As long as you are set up for micro payments - 5p + 5% per transaction as long as it is £5 or under as opposed to the standard 20p + 3.4% or you may be eligible for the non profit rate of 20p + 1.4%.
  • Online fundraising lottery is a great idea to collect fund for charity. Beside this you can even donate your car or any vehicle to a charity through their website. Buy I want to know is online fundraising lottery is tax deductible?
