Today I have mostly...been going bankrupt!!!

It's done, i'm bankrupt...it took about 2 hours for it to finally hit me that I no longer have any debt, now i'm hyper like a child!

Got to court just before my appointment at 10, the ushers rushed everything through because the judge had a big thing on starting at 10:30, paid my money, waited 5 minutes to see the judge who I have to say was one of the friendliest people I have ever met. Told me to stop worrying, sleep well, don't beat myself up and see this as a new start, said that he could guarantee if I walked into town i'd walk post 2/3 people also BR without even knowing it! Walked out of the courtroom about 10:40!

Just waiting on a call from the OR now for my interview...the weight has been lifted, thanks to everyone on here for all of your help, this place has been an immense help...THANKYOU ALL!

    Well done as well. :j:beer:

Glad it went nice and smoothly, and the judge put you at your ease.

Really pleased the Court went well, for you, Exp, and I hope that your OR interview goes just as smoothly.
Now you can look forward to an 'Early Discharge'.

Well done, happy to hear it wasn't as bad as imagined and thank you for letting us/people know on here - the more people we can give the message to it's not as bad in court as is imagined the less people like the failed IVA person on DFW panicking about it hopefully and not feeling so awful :)
Do not feed the trolls please.

  • Had my OR phone call about an hour ago, very friendly lady on the other end, asked a bunch of pretty basic questions, told me that i'll likely get a letter for an official phone or in-person interview in about 3/4 weeks so i've got a bit of time to relax before then, so far the whole process has been smooth and friendly, fingers crossed for the OR interview!
