Nice wood work. Faux naïf, intuitive, primitivist, Bauer-baroque, socialist-realist. Or something.

The lower part has echoes (intentional or not) of the unattractive exterior of the extortionately priced visitors' centre at the Causeway.

There was a thing something like that in Tullymore Park. Don't know if it's still there or not.

Hmmm, not sure about that 'wall' - I had thought it was just something that was put up during building to protect the site....

so that`s the finished article, a primary school child could have designed better, so what`s inside?

although the photo is a tad dark the access seems from a flight of steps up from the roadway - maybe i`m missing something but pity you if you`re disabled and in a wheelchair.

I saw the building recently in the flesh. I expected a real montrosity from the posts here, but it looks ok. The wood tones in quite well with the color of the beach and it doesn't dominate views of the beach. It won't win any architectural prizes but it was probably built to a tight budge and is fine. I think there was a ramp for accessibility, not just steps.
