Electerol Roll information and credit score?

Can someone explain to me whether changing your address on the electerol roll has a bad impact on your credit rating? Ive signed up to noddle free credit report and it only shows my current address on the 'edited register'. Does this mean that if i get credit searched they can't see me on the electerol roll? Also, if i apply for credit or a account of some sort, sometimes they ask you your previous 5 years address history, is this a list of electerol roll addresses you've registered at? And do you have to remember the exact dates of when you registered? If not and you enter in a weong date does it have an effect?
Just need some more info on the above, would be gratefully appreciated

The credit reference agencies, being such an important part of civilisation, get access to the edited electoral register. So no problem there; they'll have you. Incidentally, you should make sure you're always on the edited version anyway, not the full version. As for the address history and the need or otherwise to reconcile the CRA files with what you put on a credit application - I'm interested to see what others have to say about that as well.0

Because anyone can access the full register and use it for any purpose whatsoever, e.g. marketing. If you're on it you're likely to be bombarded with even more junk mail than you probably already get. The edited register is only available to CRAs and certain elements of the State. The CRAs are restricted in how they can use it.0
