Small Claims Court

An established firm is easier to enforce against than a fly by night set up.
bailiffs can only seize very limited things from companies.
A SD winds them up and freezes cash until its paid, if they intend to stay in business they have little choice but to pay.
Free to serve, but £750 to "have set" if they dont pay in the notice period.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
Assuming your husband was certain they have assets to cover his claim plus court costs/enforcement etc prior to paying for court action then it doesn't matter how much enforcement costs as their costs get added to the original order, and will be collected by way of the enforcement. If we win and they decide not to pay is there anything we can do that will not cost the earth?
Things are not great for us financially at present and I feel they are going to completely ignore any orders made by the court
(If the company is unable to pay anything then all he has paid is lost on top of the money they owe him)0
