Going Abroad for studying a good choice?

Options
My friend is planning to go to Canada for doing his post graduation. She think it is a good idea, but not sure if the cost for doing that is worth. Can anyone give an advice about that? Also is it possible to do part time job with a Canadian student visa? If not, is there anything extra we should do to make a living while doing the studies? Anyone has some suggestions? She is trying to consult with a Canadian immigration lawyer named Matthew Jeffery, matthewjeffery.com soon, but haven’t got anywhere with that yet.

I hope the "lawyer" speaks better English than the poster. In any case, someone with such poor command of language would not benefit from university study.
