Terrorist Attack - Holiday Insurance

Hi

I'm after some advice please.

I have a holiday booked in 3 weeks to spain and a further one in a few weeks to Turkey both of which are on red alert for terrorist attacks. Can anybody point me in the right direction - ie am I insured if I need to cancel due to the high risk?

What are my options?

    Your policy will set out the cover you have against cancellation.

    Normally you are only covered when the FO advises against traveling to your destination

    Presumably 'red alert' is your terminology ? - it's certainly not one used by the FCO

    As others have said cancellation will only be covered on FCO advice - not your own choice due to personal fears
