Does anyone have experience of these flash guns. I have been looking at the NW680 and the NW985C to go with my Canon 600D. I am not a pro photographer by any stretch, and have had experience with a borrowed Canon Speedlite 430EX but cannot affod the £200 asking price.
Are these flashes, at 20% of the price, any good? should i opt for one over the other?

You might be better asking this on a Photography forum. I have a Cannon DSLR but I have never bought a flash gun.

Failing that I always look for reviews online if I'm not sure about a product.

Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

Look at Yongnuo (I have a YN467-II for Nikon), these are considered the best budget alternative to the manufacturers own speedlites. Your looking at £50(ish).

I looked at these for my Canon but they didn't support TTL, only manual operation.

It looks like things have moved on though.

Indeed it is, I started off using a couple as slaves with my main Canon flash, I've just bought a new Yongnuo to replace the worn out Canon. Very very good bang for your buck with these.
